Duino Coffeehouse: McKinney

Duino Coffeehouse is a community coffeehouse located in Craig Ranch, McKinney, Texas, offering locally roasted craft coffee and fresh food. The coffeehouse partners with local roasters to bring specialty beans with real depth, and every cup is crafted with no shortcuts or compromises.

The coffeehouse serves a variety of food, including panini and avocado toast, made with fresh ingredients that can be tasted. The menu is not fancy, but rather focuses on using real ingredients to create delicious dishes.

Duino Coffeehouse hosts community events every month in its parking lot, including Cars & Coffee, Bikes & Brews, and Small Business Saturdays. These events bring the community together and create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

The coffeehouse has a unique story and history, inspired by the traditions of Egypt and the coffee culture of Italy. The owner, Hesham Bakr, was inspired by his grandmother's Turkish coffee and his experiences living in Italy, and he aimed to create a place where strangers become friends.

The coffeehouse is a family-owned business, with Hesham and his wife Asil being very hands-on from the beginning. They have been refining the menu, testing recipes, and learning something new every week, and their three kids are also involved in the business. The coffeehouse has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a Turkish chandelier hanging in the space as a tribute to Hesham's grandmother.
